Gresham, Oregon - Medical Assistant (MA) - Outpatient Care ContractRhino Medical Services is leading the charge identifying the -best -local, daily drive-in -Medical Assistants (MAs) -near Gresham, OR -available for a new -full-time position to assist the team at a Primary Care/Employee Health Clinic beginning in October.

We are seeking the best Medical Assistants with excellent patient care skills, great communication, and concierge level customer service. Think you might be a fit?

Opportunity Specifics:

• Clinical Setting: -Outpatient Clinic (Primary Care/Employee Health)
• Assignment Dates: -10/14 - 01/14 -(with possibility of extensions)
• Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm)
• Compensation: -Competitive Weekly PayMedical -Assistant Role & Responsibilities: -
  • Greet and Room patients. -
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients.
  • Prepare and label samples for laboratory testing.
  • Obtain blood & urine samples, measure and record vital signs, maintain clean exam rooms. -
  • Clerical responsibilities as necessary.
  • Exhibit good clinical judgement within the scope of the role with or without the provider present. -
  • Follow all clinical and clerical protocols per company policy. -Candidate Requirements: -
    • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
    • 1 year of recent experience in clinical settings
    • Current CPR or BLS
    • Ability to drive-in daily to Gresham, Oregon
    • Phlebotomy/Venipuncture Skills
    • A basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, reference tools, and appropriate clinical pharmacology for medical assistant practice scope.
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
