The Associate Director of Surgical Assistance is responsible for overseeing the performance of Physician Assistants (PAs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Certified Surgical First Assistants (CSFAs), and Registered Nurse First Assistants (RNFAs). This position requires expertise in surgical assistance, providing backup as needed and performing duties aligned with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The Associate Director will recruit, hire, and train staff, ensuring a smooth integration into clinical practices.
