Surgical Assistance is responsible for overseeing the performance

Surgical First Assistants (CSFAs), and Registered Nurse First
Assistants (RNFAs). This position requires expertise in surgical
assistance, providing backup as needed and performing duties
aligned with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The Associate
Director will recruit, hire, and train staff, ensuring a smooth
integration into clinical practices. By delivering both formal and
informal performance feedback, they nurture a culture of
recognition and professional growth. Addressing ongoing learning
needs, this role provides valuable educational experiences and
keeps staff informed on healthcare trends and technological
advancements. They also coordinate preceptor assignments for APPs
and facilitate APP student placements. Ensuring compliance with
