The VP CNO is responsible for hospital wide nursing patient care
programs, policies, and procedures that describe how patients'
nursing care needs, treatment, and services are assessed, evaluated
and met. The VP CNO is influential in hospital and organizational
strategic planning and implementation in concert with the
organization's mission and vision. Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center
is East County's full-service hospital, always expanding to meet
our diverse community's growing needs and offering an award-winning
patient experience delivered with a personal touch. We offer
advanced imaging, a modern emergency department, a welcoming family
birth center, surgical services, intensive care, cancer care,
gastroenterology and more. We are designated as a Center of
Excellence in robotic surgery and gastrointestinal services. Legacy
Mount Hood Medical Center proudly serves the diverse community of
East County, Oregon with significant representation from Hispanic,

Nursing Officer will play a pivotal role in fostering an

Responsibilities
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Qualifications
Education: MSN/MN and/or Doctoral degree in nursing required.
Experience: Eight years of diverse and progressively more
responsible health care and/or related administrative experience,
including minimum of three years' experience in a clinical nursing
leadership role. Skills/Abilities: Able to lead people in setting
goals, giving appropriate support, evaluating, directing, and
holding employees accountable while maintaining high morale and
productivity. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Thorough understanding of current developments and trends in
healthcare management and areas of defined accountability.
Knowledge of development and implementation of effective
operational and financial controls. Keyboard skills and ability to
navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions are
